Hi folks I'm sure by now we have all had enough of this dire weather... So to try and brighten and spice up our spring we have decided to make some Mexican style burritos.. Mexican spiced chicken strips Kidney beans Brown rice Peppers Avocado Sour cream And mossfield cheese All lovingly filled into a wrap!! Sometimes we like to get a bit creative, and try out some really new stuff, just for a bit of research and development, we decided to pair, asparagus, avocado, free range poached egg and dried up hibiscus flower, with a mango and chilli dressing, the hibiscus gave off a really lovely sweet smell, but when eaten it had a totally contrasting taste, funnily it worked well with the asparagus,egg and dressing, avocado did not do so well in this particular dish. #loveplayingwithourfood Kind regards The red apple crew.

Our chicken buddha bowl, seems to be quite the hit!! We have been asked to do a vegetarian option which we will gladly oblige to, so watch this space whilst we get a little something special whipped together. This particular dish, was avocado,spinach,sweet potato, roasted peppers and courgettes, carrots and red onions , topped with a balsamic and honey dressing before being taken out the oven, all served on a bed of brown rice. And lovingly drizzled with our own in house peanut,garlic and ginger sauce!! These bowls can be ordered for take away to!!
