Many of you know Tara Mulvihill, a hard-working pleasant young woman who worked in the shop for many years. Tara is an Art teacher in a school in Westmeath at the moment, but that's not enough, she is now heading off to India for the Summer to help to educate Indian teachers, but she needs our help too get there!! Tara is hosting a coffee morning in the Lounge this SUNDAY 14TH FEB FROM 10AM-1PM and your support would be greatly appreciated!! Here is a little message from the woman herself explaining what she will be doing in India and what it means to her! Please help me Tara Mulvihill raise funds to travel to India this July. I am currently training weekends with 40 other Irish teachers ranging from primary to 3rd level. This voluntary work will consist of sharing knowledge with Indian teachers and helping them to reach their goal of a degree from UCD. The work I will do through Global schoolroom will help to improve the quality of teaching and in turn the quality of learning for children India. I am doing this because in my opinion knowledge is power in every society it can really give people a chance to progress in life. I am blessed for the education I have had in Ireland.
