Ballinrobe Musical Society
Description
Each year we bring a West End show to the West of Ireland to an exceptionally high standard, bringing the whole community together. No challenge is too great for our set builders ! We have built and sunk "The Titanic"; created Belfast and flown a helicopter in and brought to life a pirate ship, which rocked in the storm on hydraulics to name but a few ! Our set painter is acclaimed local artist and model, Karen Forde whose work is simply magic. Each year we employ a professional production team to direct us to as near to West End standard as you can get ! We are all amateurs with a passion for performing, singing and dancing: you can't beat putting on a show to see you through the winter blues !

Ballinrobe Musical Society sadly extends its most sincere sympathies to the O'Malley family on the passing of Christina. Chris was not only a very helpful person to our musical society but also to numerous organisations/committees in our community. She will be greatly missed. Reposing at St.Joseph’s Funeral Home, Ballinrobe on Tuesday evening from 5.30pm, with removal at 8pm to St. Marys Church, Ballinrobe. Requiem Mass at 12 o’clock Wednesday, with the funeral proceeding to Ballyovey Cemetery, Partry. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Rock Rose House, Castlebar. May Her Soul Rest in Peace.
