Today I'm going to talk about bar end plugs. I see so many people riding bike a with no bar end plugs at all. The reason they are there is simple. It's to stop the bars turning into a coring device with you being the Apple. The photo below is the aftermath of a tip where the rider (yours truly) landed on the bar end. As you can see here some bruising was the result because the plugs did their job. Never ride a bike without them. If one falls out your lbs will have plenty spare
