Part time colour consultant/ retail assistant At Clarkes of Bailieborough we try to provide enthusiastic and helpful advice to our customers We are currently recruiting for a part time colour consultant / retail assistant to work with customers to help choose colours/ colour schemes and to give advice in relation to our products including paint, furniture and carpets. Consultations are carried out in store. Ideal person would have an interior design and retail background with good communication and product knowledge skills. Be a self starter and a team player. You will stay up to date with the latest trends and products in order to deliver accurate information and advice to our customers. As a member of our sales team you will really get to know our customers and what they are looking for . It’s Everything from helping them find the perfect colour or product, to stocking shelves, to merchandising, to taking deliveries, to stocktaking, to getting behind an in store promotion . Experience / skills required Previous experience in colour consultation / interior design/ or keen interest Minimum 3 years retail experience Flexible in relation to hours / day’s of work Be comfortable using computerized equipment such as till and stock system Ability to deliver a customer focused service and be a Team player .
