Strand Medical Devices has launched it's Dummy Tummy. A unique medical training device for Gastrostomy/LPGD. The device simulates the abdominal wall in thickness, texture and tactile response complete with accurately positioned stoma site. A specially designed transparent chamber allows for aspiration techniques to be performed and observed. CISD was involved in designing the transparent chamber and sourcing and collaborating with a manufacturing partner.
