One of Athlones most longest established bars the Coosan Tavern or just " The Coosan" as locals call it ,has become one of the main hubs for locals and visitors alike to come and enjoy a quite pint or cheer on your team in a match or even score a "180" in a game of darts. There is something for everybody. Thinking of booking a party, just give us a call and we will take all the hard work out of it. We have a private room off the main bar which is ideal for hosting any of your family gatherings and also a large smoking area which would also be perfect for family BBQs or just a great place to sit with a gin and tonic or a great pint of Guinness and soak up Ireland's great summers.
