Description
IOFGA (Irish Organic Farmers and Growers Association) is Ireland’s leading organic certification body dedicated to certifying organic produce and products. We certify organic farmers, growers, processors and retailers. We also promote organic food and farming in the national media and locally.
IOFGA is approved by the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine (DAFM) in the Republic of Ireland and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) in the United Kingdom to provide an inspection and certification scheme pursuant to EC Regulations 834/2007 889/2008 as amended.

Applications sought for Teagasc/DAFM Organic Demonstration Farm Programme 2019/2020 If you are an organic farmer interested in becoming a demonstration farm for the coming season applications are being sought before August 30th, 2019. Application forms are now available on the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine website at www.agriculture.gov.ie/farmingsectors/organicfarming.
