Youth Empowerment Service (YES) is a comprehensive English-speaking community-based transition programme for young adults with special needs in Hong Kong.  Youth Empowerment Service (YES) is a community-based transition programme launched by the Methodist Study Trust (MST) in April 2014 to provide comprehensive life skills training for English-speaking adults with special needs.  YES focuses on individual needs for growth. Involvement of the young adult, the guardians and YES staff team is YES’s key of success.

As a community-based transition programme, our trainees will learn skills they need to enter their adulthood and the community such as social and communications skills, independent living skills, functional skills and understanding of relationships with others, through various activities and community and vocational experiences. Equals ‘Moving On’ Literacy and Numeracy, Functional Skills and Sex and Relationships Education, as well as resources from latest research are adopted on a daily basis.
