🇩🇪 Selbst für ausgefallenste Umbauten übernimmt das Team von SAS Wartung und/oder Instandsetzungen. Im vorliegenden Fall handelt es sich um einen um 200mm verlängerten Mercedes W140 mit einer Dacherhöhung von 125mm. Bestehende Elektronikprobleme wurden von SAS behoben, Dichtungen neu angefertigt. Genauso wie das Fahrwerk, welches zusätzlich einem technischen Upgrade unterzogen wurde. War das Design der OEM Karosserie schon extrem, so ist es hier beinahe als grenzwertig zu bezeichnen. 🇬🇧 Even exceptional conversions will be maintained by the team of SAS. 🇩🇪 Alle von SAS umgerüsteten Fahrzeuge, bzw. deren verwendete Materialien werden regelmäßig entsprechenden Prüfungen unterzogen. Hier zu sehen ist z.B. einen Test mit zwei Handgranaten DM51. An dem blauen Gestell sind Bleirohre angebracht – diese bilden den Grad der Unterbodenverformung nach. Somit kann man Rückschlüsse auf die Überlebenschance im Fahrzeug inneren nach der Detonation der simultan gezündeten Handgranaten schließen. 🇬🇧 All converted vehicles by SAS, respectively all used materials will consistently undergo examinations.
