Happy 20th Birthday Harry Potter & J.K Rowling! You have taught me that our actions matter more than our circumstances, and that love is the greatest gift we can give to each other. Harry Potter taught me so much more about good and evil and that something is worth dying for. Severus Snape taught me to never, ever judge a person. Lily Potter taught me that there is nothing on earth more powerful than a mother’s love. Remus Lupin taught me that fear is the only thing I should be afraid of. Sirius Black taught me that the ones we love never truly leave us. Neville Longbottom taught me to stand up for what’s right - even if you are terrified. Dobby taught me that freedom is a gift. Even Lord Voldemort taught me that life without love is barely living and J. K. Rowling taught me that the stories we love will always be with us until the very end. Honestly Harry Potter exposes a lot of reality in the world that we do live in which all of us see and experience differently than other people. It was a guideline growing up. It gave us a hand to hold while we were discovering who we were as Harry did too throughout the books and the movies. Thank you for making me believe in magic! #HarryPotter20
