Das FM Racing Team ist ein Team im Kartsport, das sowohl bei nationalen als auch internationalen Meisterschaften vertreten ist.
The FM Racing Team is a karting team, which gives race support at national and international championships. Das FM Racing Team ist in der Rotax Max Euro Challenge und der Rotax Max Challenge Germany sowie bei einigen Testrennen in verschiedenen Ländern vertreten.
Dabei liegt das Hauptaugenmerk auf allen Rotax Klassen von Micro bis DD2.
Das Team wurde im Januar 2016 aus dem Rotax Praga Kart Ra cing gegründet. Der Teamchef Christian Fleischmann entschied sich dabei auf die Chassismarke DR umzusteigen und eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem international erfolgreichen VPD Racing Team zu starten.
Somit hat das Team direkten Zugriff auf Prototypen und neue Errungenschaften des DR Werks sowie die langjährige Erfahrung und die Ausrüstung des VPD Teams.
Besonders das Auswertungssystem von RKS ist dabei eine erhebliche Erleichterung. Damit ist es möglich die Fahrweisen, Chassiseinstellungen und die Motorperformance der einzelnen Fahrer zu vergleichen, um somit das bestmögliche Ergebnisse zu erreichen. Außerdem ermöglicht die Weiterentwicklung der Kartchassis die optimale Anpassung an die Bedürfnisse der Fahrer.
In der ersten Saison mit dem neuen DR Material konnte sich das Team mehrere Podestplätze sowie die Meisterschaft in der Klasse DD2 Masters mit dem Fahrer Thomas Piert sichern.

Einige von euch haben es vll in Adria bei der CEE schon bemerkt. Zur Saison 2018 steigen wir auf Tonykart bzw. das Material der OTK Gruppe um! Deswegen haben wir nun auch ein eigenes Team Kartsticker Design von Jakedesigns erstellen lassen. Wir hoffen es gefällt euch! Am vergangenen Wochenende waren wir mit 4 Fahrern bei der CEE in Adria zum ersten offiziellen Rennen des Teams im Jahr 2018 am Start. Wir konnten mit einem Sieg und Plätzen unter den Top 3 überzeugen. Dennoch ist natürlich auch noch Luft nach oben, aber die Saison ist ja noch früh und aufgrund der Wetterverhältnisse zu Beginn des Jahres waren nur wenige Tests möglich. In letzter Zeit waren wir aufgrund von Umstrukturierungen leider nicht sehr aktiv auf unserer Seite, wir werden aber ab dieser Woche wieder mit Beiträgen/Bilder/Neuigkeiten aktiv sein. Ihr könnt euch somit auf viele News freuen! Last weekend the team was at the CEE in Adria for the first race of the season 2018 for the team. We were able to win a race and to gain some top 3 finishes. There are still some improvements to make, but due to the bad weather conditions at the beginning of this year we just were able to do some test days. In the last few weeks we didnt have a lot of time for some news at our page because we made some big changes in our company. From now on we will start to share some news/pics with all of you. Hope you guys are looking forward to our news!
Some more pictures of our team driver Patrick Weinstock at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals 2017 in Portimao. He achieved great results in this season 2017 and hopefully we will be even more successful in 2018. Patrick Weinstock, great performance!
Last weekend our two qualified drivers Patrick Weinstock and Max Fleischmann raced at the Rotax Max Grand Finals 2017 in Portimao. Patrick did a great job in DD2 Masters class to finish 16th in the final. After the 3rd position in the european championship standings for Max in the DD2 class he had a another superb weckend to end the year with a top 5 finish in 5th position! Thank you very much for all the people who supported us in 2017, hopefully the next season will be even more successful! Already looking forward to the new season 2018, organisation and preparation has already started....news about championships and plans will follow soon! Podium finish at the 2nd round of the rotax euro challenge in Salbris! Patrick Weinstock finished 7th in the prefinal and unfortunately had a DNF in the final. Max Fleischmann managed to finish 3rd in both finals. So still leading the championship in the DD2 class! Looking forward to the next round in Wackersdorf. Big thank you to Steven Chapman, ernst Penninger and Ogden Motorsport for the great support!
Second Round of European Rotax Championship in Salbris (France). Two good testing days behind us, tomorrow there are three practice sessions and qualifying practice before the heats on Saturday and the two finals on Sunday. Our drivers Patrick Weinstock and Max Fleischmann Borg racing in DD2 class. Working directly in the VPD racing tent. Hopefully it's gonna be a good weekend! Fingers crossed! After two good testing weekends in Italy we looking forward to the first races of the season! We will compete in German Rotax Max Challenge, Rotax Max Euro Challenge and CEE Championship for the moment with drivers in Senior and DD2 class. Bring on 2017 season!
