Goddess (Earth Energy) vs Reiki (Universal Energy) ~ Yin & Yang Jan 4 Below is an article from Gaia Rose, explaining a little about what exactly Goddess energy & Reiki energy is to her personally, & how they work so beautifully together as the combined healing system which is Goddess Reiki®, founded by Gaia herself. “ॐ REIKI (UNIVERSAL ENERGY) more masculine (Yang) ~ Channelled from the crown chakra (head). Reiki is simply a Japanese word used for any spiritual healing. The ‘Ki’ in Reiki is used to explain the life force energy that runs through us, the universe, & all living things. The word Reiki became more popular after a man named Mikao Usui from Japan done energy/spiritual healing on many people, with great results. Ki energy is flowing around us & through us all the time, helping to keep us alive, it just flows or ‘vibrates’ at different levels & strengths within in each of us depending how much inner work we each do to keep are inner channels clear. As we are part of everything & everything is part of us, I have come to find over the years that when you attend a Reiki course & go through an attunement or ‘initiation’ (as I like to call it), it is not a separate energy coming from an unrelated source, but instead, the reiki teacher helps you to open up the energy channels that are already flowing within you & helps clear & unblock these so that the universal energy that we are already part of can flow through us more abundantly & help our inner Ki flow better, & the more your inner channels are open, the more open you are to receiving the outer flow of Ki that’s all around us. On the other hand, when receiving a Reiki healing session, the practitioner helps to almost ‘boost’ your own energy for a while (like jump starters charging a car) with their own flow of ‘Ki’ & ‘awakening’ the inner life force within you. The stronger & more ‘alive’ the practitioners Ki is flowing, the stronger the clients results will also be. This is why it’s so important for Reiki practitioners to keep self-healing & looking after their own energy & Channels. A Reiki session is truly beautiful, but its outcomes are not as deep as when attending a course & re-opening these channels at a deeper level. It’s like most things; The more deeper you focus & practice on a particular thing/energy, the stronger it will become. ॐ GODDESS (Earth energy) More feminine (Yin) ~ Channelled from the root chakra (base of spine). Goddess (Mother Earth) energies are those which sustain all life on Earth, the cycles, the seasons, the birth, growth, death, & re-birth. Like Reiki, it is a huge part of us & our survival, just on a slightly different vibration or ‘wavelength’, just like you have different wavelengths for different radio stations, it’s the same throughout the Earth we live on. In a Goddess Reiki® course (developed by myself, a combination of two different energies or ‘wavelengths’ within & without us) each student receives two Goddess blessings which are long, guided, & visual meditation techniques where the student literally ‘awakens’ & empowers to this different feminine ‘wavelength’/energy on their own (with some guidance from the teacher), but unlike Reiki, there is no attunement from the Teacher, instead each student ‘attunes’ themselves. Throughout the duration of a Goddess Reiki® course, students delve very deep within their psyche with their committed focus mainly upon the ‘Yin energy’, which then helps re-activate the more feminine flow of the Earths energies, helping these to become more abundant in the channels. ॐ YIN & YANG Everything in this world is a dualism. There is an opposite for everything, & one wouldn’t exist without the other. There is a Yin (feminine) & a Yang (masculine) energy to every single thing. When working with them both there is a perfect balance, & when there’s balance, this helps bring in more peace, love, light, focus, truth, understanding, intuition, beauty, healing, wisdom, positivity, & a greater awareness of self & who you truly are. This is what Goddess Reiki® is; A beautiful combination of the two dualisms, yin & yang, masculine & feminine, heavens & earth, alpha & omega, above & below, & Just as you would hear two different songs or connections on two different radio stations, it’s the same for these two energies; You can’t physically see them with the eye, but you can spiritually feel them with the soul. They are not separate from us, they are part of us, & flow through our energy system always, sometimes we just need a helping hand to remember, to re-awaken, & re-connect.
