The 14th edition of COEUR - Competences in EuroPreneurship ended last friday and all teams presented excellent value propositions for Cascais, under the topic “Active Ageing". Followed by an elegant buffet dinner featuring regional gastronomy and wines in Cascais Cultural Center, where the three winning teams (best presentation, best value proposition and best teamwork) were announced. During the farewell party, a small sample of dances and traditional Portuguese costumes was presented. Once again ISCTE-IUL and AUDAX - ISCTE would like to thank Câmara Municipal de Cascais, Cascais European Youth Capital 2018, Cascais Jovem , DNA Cascais and CP - Comboios de Portugal for helping us to provide a memorable experience in Portugal. #coeur #coeur2016 #cascais #iscte #audax #cascaiseyc2018

Today is the day – showdown! At 3 pm the final presentations of the COEUR Workshop projects will start at Casa da Horta, Cascais. 6 teams have intensively been working on their ideas since Monday. First fuzzy, the ideas have made substantial improvements now and show great potential for new businesses and social enterprises spreading from Cascais to the world. Student teams will be awarded in three categories by a jury of external experts in the award ceremony at 6:30 pm today. More to follow…

During this week, Cascais and O Século Foundation host COEUR, organized by AUDAX - ISCTE. Yesterday, participants were challenged by the Cascais 2018 - European Youth Capital to develop projects about the topic "Active Ageing". Then they received a workshop lectured by Inês Sousa (ISCTE Active Ageing expert). In the end of the day, Professor Matthias Eickhoff gave a workshop about “Intercultural Entrepreneurship”. Today we had a workshop about "Creativity and Innovation", lectured by Claudia Barbosa. During the afternoon, they visited the Carcavelos Community Center and Cascais center guided by two locals. #coeur #coeur2016 #cascais #iscte #audax #cascaiseyc2018

The 14th COEUR is 'on air' now! The AUDAX-team - thank you Carina !!- and the sun in Portugal gave us a great and warm welcome and we are now looking forward to the second day to open our minds for creative developments in active ageing. Carpe Diem
