Twenty years ago, the Guggenheim Bilbao museum opened. The iconic building designed by Frank Gehry has transformed architecture worldwide. This urban sculpture has manifested and concentrated the desire to form distinctively recognizable structures. The motivation for such a concept ranges from a powerful marketing tool to a strong carrier for identity. The facades fascinates through its titanium coating and the shimmering daylight reflections. To install the lighting in the extremely dimensioned rooms of the museum, suspended lighting bridges known as catwalks were used. The high ceilings required particularly powerful tools for the accent lighting. Many features of the spotlights were customized for this project. Independence Hall of Korea, Cheonan, South Korea Established in 1987, it has the largest exhibition facility in South Korea, with a total floor area of 23,424 m². The museum focuses on the Korean historical documents and relics from the past to the present, including images related to the armed resistance and independence movements of Korea. Combination of Optec Oval Floodlights and Floodlights in 12W to highlight the characters on the wall. Optec Contour Spotlights in 28W to create circular patterns on the floor. Colour temperature in 3000k.
