Description
Software beyond the mainstream. Since 1991, Ulf Dunkel works as a software developer and Desktop Publishing Services. In 1994 he founded the inversmedia Verlag with two other DTP professionals. They published the magazine invers, a professionals magazine for typography and layout. Main topic of the magazine was the DTP program Calamus SL for Atari and Windows.
In 1997, inversmedia were granted the distribution rights for Calamus SL. Ulf Dunkel separated the software distribution area from the edition area in 1998. Since then he and his company invers Software develop, support and distribute Calamus SL and many modules for SL which have been developed since that time. With DSD.net he founded another software distribution platform in 2002. In 2002, invers Software bought the rights of Calamus SL.
With iCalamus, the completely new developed publisher for Mac OS X, invers Software continues its successful way. iCalamus has been developed mainly by Michael Monscheuer and Michael Kammerlander.
