Rein Saar
Description
Bass-bariton Rein Saar is an Estonian bass baritone currently studying at the Cologne Academy of Music and Dance in the class of Prof. Christoph Prégardien. Rein has a delightfully timbrized bass baritone voice and his urge to communicate with the audience and his natural expressiveness already lead to wonderful results in the area of the romantic song, the classical opera and the oratorio. His last engagement led him to the Irmelin Sloman Music Theater, where he performed as the Father in E. Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel". He had his first stage experiences as Papageno in the opera "The Magic Flute" by W.A.Mozart and as Tevje in the musical "Fiddler on the Roof" by J.Bock and S.Harnick.
