soon available as a new style! The Project: from idea to concept of a clothing label...Mika runs fashion! After being a successful DJ in the European reggae, dancehall and soca scene in Germany with the music project Sunny Friday (hosted by Mika Raguaa), it was time for something new...
As media designer, DJ and student for media- and communication science, Mika is the creative head behind this project. Together with a lot of supporters in the background, the label is growing day by day.
And Mika says it goes like this: "EXPRESS YOURSELF!"
The name of the label (written in patois) describes the idea: LOOK AT ME.
It’s all about being seen in a positive way!
Combinations of different textile-print techniques (like silk-screen printing, flock printing or digital directprinting), embroideries and effective textile colors combine into one little artwork. Every shirt will be individually produced.
Ladies and gents get the same amount of attention for designs. Later on, accessories shall be delivered as well.
The clothes that are offered here will be individually modified and are only available in limited editions. In this case it takes two weeks, till the shirt is ready for distribution..
October 12th 2013 is the official release of the label, where 10 clothing pieces will be presented in a fashion show. At the release party at the LOLA BAR (gießerstr. 3) in Leipzig (Germany) the clothes will be shown for the first time. After this date, the clothes can be officially ordered over this website. It is also possible to preorder the shirts at the label release party. To order a shirt - you just follow the easy process of sending an email to mika@lookponmi.com
