Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress C2070P Achieves Fogra Certification Customers of Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress C2070P have even more reason to celebrate – the award of a FograCert Validation Printing System (VPS) certificate. The high-speed colour digital system that takes image quality and consistency to new heights underwent a series of tests to secure the accolade from the German-headquartered research organisation operating under the umbrella of the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations (AiF). The AiF oversees and support joint industrial research on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. Fogra found that the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2070P ‘fulfils all criteria of this programme in the tested configurations’. It is now certified when running with the optional EFI Fiery, CREO or Konica Minolta controllers. The Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2070P was tested in a number of configurations and printing conditions for a wide range of capabilities. These included PDF/X conformance, proofing substrate colour, gloss and fluorescence, colour accuracy, uniformity, permanence and light fastness. Tests also considered fading, long and short-term repeatability, rub resistance of the print, colorimetric tone value transfer, tone value reproduction limits, image register and resolving power and margin information. Konica Minolta Launches Simply Efficient AccurioPress Series Konica Minolta has launched its ‘simply efficient’ AccurioPress C6100 Series of colour production printers, which are designed to support a highly responsive print room environment. The AccurioPress C6100 Series is now available in the 85 ppm C6085 and the 100 ppm C6100. The fast and flexible series has been created for operations who recently started digital printing and are now expanding their service as well as those who need to handle large, repeat, print volumes.
