NEW 👉 NYOS RS The successful XC concept behind the NYOS is entering its next phase with the NYOS RS! The NYOS is the winning glider on which Didi Siglbauer succeeded in taking out the DHV-XC two times in a row. Its successor offers a multitude of new features. The RAST system is the most striking difference compared to the previous version. The NYOS RS uses the latest generation of our bulkhead partition system technology, with non-return valves and perfected tension distribution. This makes the NYOS RS much more stable, and canopy movement in turbulence is reduced to an absolute minimum. Together with the unparalleled precise handling of RAST, this produces a completely new sense of stability, with pilots being able to use its performance potential much more easily. A further design highlight is the use of Nitinol rods for leading edge reinforcement. This extremely stable and resistant memory metal used in medical engineering is a nickel-titanium alloy and stretches the leading edge like a drum. This results in performance advantages for pilots, particularly at accelerated speeds, thanks to a super clean trailing edge with the simplest handling in everyday use. The fabric used for the NYOS RS is another new feature. The double-coated fabric was optimised for this particular purpose in close cooperation with our supplier. The result is an extremely lightweight, dimensionally stable and tear-resistant high-tech fabric in modern colours, which is designed for the toughest demands and durability. We are convinced that there is nothing to equal the new NYOS RS with its combination of safety, damping, performance and handling – making it the first in a new class, the comfort-performance class. http://swing.de/nyos-rs-en.html The plan is for the Nyos RS to be available in 5 sizes, which should cover a total weight range of 60 - 135 kg. Sizes S (75-95 kg) and M (85-105 kg) have already successfully completed all of the tests required for type-test certification with LTF/EN-B. We are expecting to begin delivering the first NYOS RS in the certified sizes at the start of next year.
