The laser cutting machines of the LCS series are the all-time best sellers in ELCEDE history with many hundreds of installed machines. The major features have always been a very compact footprint together with highest positioning accucarcy due to constant beam length and gantry drives on all axes. ELCEDE now has released the 5th generation of this type called LCS evo. The machine is available in all needed working sizes (starting from 1.700 x 1.300 mm up to 3.000 x 1.850 mm) and equipped with a Rofin Sinar slab laser head with power from 1.000 up to 2.500 watts. New options for this machine are the fast engraving head QUICKSCAN and the milling unit QUICKMILL. The LCS is available as stand alone flatbed machine or as combo system including a rotray cutting unit. The first machine is currently being installed, the next ones are already in production to be delivered soon!

Thanks to everyone for attending the ESU Technologyforum on September 15th and 16th in Luxembourg and visiting the ELCEDE booth! The show was a great success and ELCEDE demonstrated the most professional solution to industrialise the rule processing production for dieboards with its COILMATE evo. One of the highlights was the calibration module QUICKSET which sets up all bending tables on the machine fully automatic and always guarantees perfect bending results. It was especially nice to meet and see a lot of international customers and discuss the future of diemaking with them. We're already looking forward to the next ESU Technologyforum in 2019 in Luxembourg.

Already earlier this year ELCEDE installed the first machine of the new generation of the COILMATE pro at long term customer Diebec Ltd. in Pointe Claire, Canada. Diebec has been using ELCEDE rule processing equipment - next to some laser and counter cutting machines from us - since the early 90's and this is one of the reasons they are well known to be one of the leading dieshops when it comes to high quality folding carton tools in North America. For their latest invention, the PhantomDie, they were in need of an automatic machine to produce highly precise rules which are ready to knife. A difficult task but ELCEDE was able to meet their requirements with the newly designed COILMATE pro. This machine can process 2 and 3 pt. rule, it has 4 broaching units, a high precision nicking unit, a tool beam with 12 (!) different tools, a printing unit to mark processed rule, a fully automatic bending unit, a rule collecting system and the automatic calibration module QUICKSET. Michael Palermo of Diebec states:"This machine was a quite high investment for Diebec but with its unbeaten level of speed, precision and quality we believe it is the least expensive machine on the market. We coulnd't keep up with the workload we get in right now for our new and patented PhantomDie without this COILMATE pro and we are extremly pleased with the overall results." Diebec and ELCEDE - a success story now being continued in the next generation of both family owned companies!

ELCEDE completed the installation of a COILMATE evo at BCN Troqueles S.L.L. in Barberà del Vallès (ES) earlier in April this year. The machine comes with a high precision nicking unit with 4 different nicking wheel widths, a double-sided broaching unit, 5 tungsten carbide DIEMOND cutting tools and a fully automatic bending unit for 2 and 3 pt. As a specialty, the machine also equipped with a state-of-the-art dovetail tool to produce any size of cutsomized cut-crease combination rules which they do a lot of. This tool is manufactured by ELCEDE and one of a kind (see pictures). This is the first ELCEDE machine for BCN after they started and envolved their young business very fast and successful. Marc Alvarez of BCN states: "After starting with smaller and more simple machines in the beginnings of the company we were eventually in need of a professional solution in the rule processing department to satisfy our customers requests. After using the COILMATE evo only for a few weeks now we can already say that we made the right choice in order to further grow and even increase our quality level." After a successful IADD Odyssey show with introducing the latest level of technology in the rule processing area, ELCEDE started to install the first systems in North America. Synergy, a long term customer of ELCEDE has decided to invest in the COILMATE evo machine for processing 2 and 3 pt. The machine comes with a integrated broaching unit aswell as the highly precise QUICKNICK nicking device. As Richard E. Morrison, president of Synergy, believes in automated processes and always tries to optimize the work flow in his shop he decided to go for the automatic calibration module QUICKSET and the box sorting device. With QUICKSET there is no more manual work to be done to set up all bending tables of all materials. The unit can be simply attached to the machine and by pushing one button the machines does all the calibration work automatically while operators can do something else. The box sorting device is also a big help in the production flow as the machine produces rules for several diemakers and each job can be sperated in individual boxes. Synergy also uses the machine to be running some jobs overnight with no operator filling in a coil before the night shift leaves and then processing and sorting the rules into the boxes. With this, rules are ready to be knifed by the time the diemakers come to work the next morning. There is no other machine in the market with such a high automation level. ELCEDE recently finsihed the installation of a new flat laser LCS 210 DC015, refurbished rule processing machine COILMATE Standard and refurbished milling system MCS 160-4S at long term customer Cahak Stanzformen Krüger Ing. Wilhelm GmbH in Vienna (A). The company was taken over by Ing. Wilhelm Krüger in 2015 after the death of founder Heinz Cahak and ever since the company is growing again with new spirits. Due to the fast growth and requirements from the market, Mr. Krüger decided to move the location of his company out from the center of Vienna to the subberbs to have an easier access and more space. The existing ELCEDE waterjet as well as the rule prciessing system ACS 100 were moved in the same week as the installation of the new machines went on. Quite a busy week for everyone! Already after using the new equipment for just some weeks Willy Krüger states that his productivity has almost doubled with the same amount of labor. Plus he is able to offer steel counter plates now as he can do it on the refurbished MCS 160-4S next to phenolic counters. The COILMATE Standard comes with an inline broaching unit and 5 tools and can cut, broach and bend steel rules in 2 and 3 pt. We're looking forward to our partnership!
