Our aim is to keep you up to date with any news or new developments with regard to the products and services provided by us here at apilion For more than five decades, as Züblin Maschinenbau and since the autumn of 2011 as apilion machines+services, we have been designing and manufacturing state of the art cage welding machines for the precast concrete industry. We are committed to perpetuate the proud tradition of engineering excellence for which our predecessors Züblin MAB was well known and to continue to provide innovative customized solutions in response to market requirements for high performance automated machinery.
Today, the company‘s core competence is the manufacture of a wide range of welding machinery destined for the fabrication of high precision cages for reinforced concrete pipes, driven and bored piles, poles, structural elements and box culverts
All our machinery can be customized to meet your technical and budgetary requirements – the apilion team of dedicated, highly qualified mechanical and software engineers is there to ensure that the desired machinery is individually tailored to your exact specifications.
Key machine components such as motors, drives and control systems are sourced exclusively from reputable international manufacturers ensuring worldwide support and parts availability.

The RER pipe cage welding machine, based on the tried and tested SMS machinery series, designed for the fully automatic production of pipe cages with round ends and elliptical barrel, was unveiled at the BAUMA tradeshow in the spring. The use of RER cages, which is in complete compliance with ASTM and DIN norms, eliminates the need for double cages in concrete pipe and results in significant time, labour and above all steel saving.

A fully automatic VSM welding machine designed for the vertical production of large diameter pipe cages undergoing testing at our plant in Kehl prior to delivery to a customer in the Middle East. A special feature of the machine is the ability to produce double cages - following completion of the outer cage the inner cage is simply fabricated inside it.
