Did anyone notice that white fluffy stuff falling from the sky lately? Yes, ski/snowboard season is upon us, and there's still room on our inaugural trip of the season over the Thanksgiving weekend to the Kaprun glacier in Austria. There will be a traditional Thanksgiving meal served on Thursday, complete with the best stuffing you've ever tasted. Good snow guaranteed, good food guaranteed, good times guaranteed. And, there's a wonderful spa within walking distance from our hotel. Join us!

Hello everyone. Has anyone noticed that giant yellow orb in the sky? Since we are experiencing a wonderful Indian Summer, Outdoor Recreation invites you to join us on one last Sunset Paddling Trip of the season, tomorrow, Thursday, September 8. We will depart ODR at 1700 (5 o'clock, 1/2 hour earlier than normal). And to sweeten the deal, 1/2 price per person! Hope to see you then.

A great Youth Fishing Event at the Soldiers Lake Recreation Area sponsored by the Ansbach chapter of the American Legion. A big thank you to the American Legion and all the other volunteers who came out early Saturday morning to make this such a success. The smiles on the kid's faces tells it all. Many of them had the thrill of landing a fish, but all are "hooked" in a lifetime activity.

Gone Fishing, while stationed in Germany?????YES!!! SPRING FISHING COURSE - April 29th - May 1st You may have heard that you must have a fishing license to legally fish in Germany, to include our local fishing events. Well, this is you opportunity to acquire a fishing license. Take this 3 day Outdoor Recreation Fishing Course and be ready to fish this season. This course is offered to all ID Cardholders 14 years and older. The participants will become a Hunting, Fishing and Sports Shooting Club Member ($15) and walk away with the certification of completion ($65), which will allow them to obtain a German Fishing license. Course Fee: $65 HFSS Membership Fee: $15 The class meets at the Soldiers Lake.
