Da es den ganzen Tag schon geregnet und gestürmt hat, ist nicht nur das Q2 und Q3 des Qualifiyings ausgefallen,sondern auch das Ausscheidungsrennen. Nick hätte somit als 19. ins Rennen starten können. Das schlechte Wetter hat jedoch angehalten und aufgrund des zu rauen Wassers (wie ihr auf dem Video sehen könnt) und des Sturms, wurde soeben auch das Rennen des Weltmeisterschaftslaufes in Campione d'Italia abgesagt. Das Unglück und das schlechte Wetter verfolgt uns diese Saison. Aber ein positives bleibt. Es kann nur besser werden💪🏽 The race weekend in Campione d'Italia is over without any race. The Q2 and Q3 parts of the qualifiying and also the Elimination-race was cancelled because of the bad weather conditions. And after a long period of waiting for better weather, the UIM officials decided to cancel the worldchampionship race in Campione d'Italia, too. We are dogged by bad luck with the weather in this season. But there is still one positive aspect... things can only get better. 💪🏽

Das qualifiying ist nicht zu unserer Zufriedenheit gelaufen. Das Wetter war miserabel und genauso die Platzierung. Leider erreichte Nick im Q1 nur den 19. Platz und muss morgen im Ausscheidungsrennen unter die ersten 5 Plätze kommen, damit er sich für den Weltmeisterschaftslauf qualifiziert. Also morgen Vollgas! 💪🏽 The qualifiying was as bad as the weather conditions and unfortunately Nick reached the 19th place in Q1 and has to drive the elimination-race. Hopefully he is one of the 5 best drivers in this Race and will be allowed to start in the Championship Race after that. Because of that we stay focused and keep on fighting at full throttle 💪🏽

Schlechtes Wetter beim freien Training in Campione d'Italia. Aufgrund der schlechten Wetterbedingungen wird heute lediglich das Q1 des Qualifiyings stattfinden und alles weitere auf morgen vertagt. Das Rennwochenende in Norwegen ging beinahe früher zu Ende als gedacht. Kurz vor dem Start bemerkten wir, dass der Tank undicht war und es schien alles danach, als könnten wir nach einem sehr guten 6. Startplatz nicht ins Rennen starten. Wir gaben alles und haben es bis auf die letzte Sekunde noch geschafft die Panne zu beheben! Somit könnten wir ins Rennen starten. Unglücklicherweise lief der Start miserabel, sodass Nick auf den 14. Platz zurückfiel. Er kämpfte sich aber zwischenzeitlich 3 Plätze nach vorne und beendete auch durch 2 Ausfälle des 16-köpfigen Fahrerfelds das Rennen auf dem 9.Platz und konnte somit die ersten WM-Punkte sammeln! Zusammenfassende müssen wir leider sagen, dass nach dem Qualifying mehr als der 9. Platz drin zu sein schien, wir aber aufgrund der Panne im Tank zufrieden sein können, das Rennen auf dem 9. Platz beendet zu haben und die ersten Punkte für die Weltmeisterschaft gesammelt zu haben. Im September wird beim nächsten Rennen in Campione/ Italien angegriffen. 💪🏽 The Race weekend in Norway is over. A few minutes before the race should start it seemed that the weekend becomes a flop because there was a leak in the fuel tank. It was too dangerous to start with this lack and so it seemed to be the end for us. But with all men power we've had, we could fix the tank and could go into the water and start the race. The promising 6th starting position out of the qualifying gave us hope but after a miserable start Nick fall behind on the 14th place. But he fought him back on the 9th place. This 9th place is also due to two breakdowns and two disqualifications but at the end we can resume that we can be satisfied with the first points of the F2 World Championship and now we will stay focused to the next race in campione d'Italia in September 💪🏽

Ende vom Q2. Nick steht auf dem 5. Platz momentan und morgen werden im Q3 die Top 6 Startpositionen ausgefahren. Wir sind zufrieden. Morgen Gehts weiter! Jetzt wird erstmal lecker gegessen 😉 We finished Q2 on the 5th Place. Q3 starts tomorrow because of the darkness due to the delay. Therefore tomorrow begins the fight against the First 6 Places in the starting line up. We are contented with the results and tomorrow we will continue. Now its time for a good dinner 😉
