Dörkengroup furthermore EMAS company - we are proud to be a part of it While the UN is trying to pass a climate protection agreement through tough negotiations, DörkenGroup companies have been demonstrating their commitment to the environment and sustainability for 12 years. For the fifth time the companies of Ewald Dörken AG are certified according to EMAS with all locations Herdecke, Hagen Vorhalle and Schalksmühle. EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) is a voluntary instrument of the European Union, which helps the company to continually improve its environmental performance. Components of the EMAS regulation are that the participating companies on a voluntary basis improve beyond the environmental requirements and are regularly checked by a state-approved environmental assessor and their environmental protection in an environmental statement.

Recertification of the Dörken Group In April 2016, the Dörken Group was audited with all business units in accordance with ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) by the TÜV. After four intense days we were informed by the auditors that we continue to meet the requirements of ISO standards.
