Ascencsion!!! Not at all a mystical day, nor a fairy tail, but a magnificent reality we can rely on. Whatever proclamation darkness, evil, death does and claims to be bigger - it is NOT. Everything was submitted under HIS feet and at the same time under the feet of those who trust him. And if those things seem to prevail it is temporary. Going through horrible pains? Yes this is a reality too. But victory and life is the last word! I send my greetings to all those who suffer...

Today I opened a Blog on the www.horeb.world website, where you will regularly find new contributions both for non-LGBT-Christians and for “us” queer folks. Today’s article doesn’t seem to have to do with the subject of being queer+Christian but indeed has a lot to do with it: Our being rooted in the presence of God! Just today, Monday after Easter, on the transition of celebrating resurrection to the usual everyday life, the essential question is: how are we able to abide in the wonderful spiritual realities we once have seen and our everyday humdrum life?

A thought, recorded two weeks ago in my retreat in the pyrenees - how to make room for the word of God in ourselves through sharing it with others...

The striving for creating understanding for LGBT brothers and sisters amongst the cisgender hetero mainstream christianity is not a "luxury problem" as it might appear for some. It is for many a question of life and death. Literarlly. This is, why this page and initiative exists.

Recently I recorded this video when pondering about the subject how flat and sometimes meaningless the term "brothers and sisters" has become. This is certainly one of the reasons why theological misunderstandings and lack of knowledge about LGBT subjects do so much harm: we are not used to show soooo much interest to one other in Christian circles (as we claim to do). Hope to stir this up a bit... (You can share it to no matter which Christians, even not yet accepting ones, there is no LGBT reference, unless they fall into it in the channel). In the whole discussion about homosexuality and faith I often think that one of the problems is a simple lack of new testament basics. Though we speak as Christians about faith, in our practical convictions we base primordially on ideas of what “we should” and what “we ought not” etc: LAW. These simplified and fixed patterns give security, it is then no longer SO necessary to depend each moment on our close relationship to the living Lord. When it then comes to subjects like homosexuality this will always hinder us, because the letter of the Bible will never bring sufficient answer. And LGBT Christians themselves will again and again fall back in doubts… Just created a short video about this subject (8 min - https://youtu.be/ZZrjXBr27KQ ).
