Description
Die Sustainable Mobility Research Group (SMRG) ist Teil der Professur für Informationsmanagement an der Universität Göttingen und befasst sich schwerpunktmäßig mit der wirtschaftlichen Nutzung nachhaltiger Mobilitätskonzepte.
Wir bieten in Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Partnern theoretisch fundierte, aber praxisorientierte Forschung. Zudem geben wir unsere Erkenntnisse und unseren Forschungsstand in Seminaren und Vorträgen an Interessierte weiter.
Durch unser interdisziplinäres Team decken wir die komplexe Struktur der nachhaltigen Mobilität in voller Bandbreite ab. Diese differenzierte Betrachtungsweise erlaubt es, das Thema vollständig und kontextbezogen zu erforschen.
Mithilfe unserer Partner arbeiten wir derzeit an folgenden Projekten:
- Projekt BESIC (Batterie-Elektrische Schwerlastfahrzeuge im Intelligenten Containerterminal)
- Projekt des Schaufensters Metropolregion Hannover-Braunschweig-Göttingen-Wolfsburg (e-Radschnellwege – Umstiege erleichtern)
- Projekt des Schaufensters Metropolregion Hannover-Braunschweig-Göttingen-Wolfsburg (Elektromobilität für Nachahmer - Umstiege erleichtern)
Wir sind stets am Austausch sowie an neuen Projektideen mit Partnern aus Wirtschaft und Forschung interessiert. Zudem bieten wir Firmen die Möglichkeit einer Bewertung hinsichtlich der Nachhaltigkeit.

Under the supervision of Prof. Lutz M. Kolbe, members of the SMRG contribute three full research papers to the thirty sixth International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2015) held in Fort Worth, Texas from December 13-16, 2015. ICIS is the leading international conference in the field of Information Systems, thus being the most prestigious gathering of academics and practitioners in the IS discipline. 1. Ilja Nastjuk introduced the article “On the Duality of Stress in Information Systems Research – The Case of Electric Vehicles.” 2. Everlin Piccinini, Andre Hanelt and Robert Gregory contributed their research on “Transforming Industrial Business: The Impact of Digital Transformation on Automotive Organizations.” 3. Björn Hildebrandt, Andre Hanelt and Sebastian Firk presented their paper “Entering the Digital Era – The Impact of Digital Technology-related M&As on Business Model Innovations of Automobile OEMs” which was moreover nominated for best paper award.
