AFIS stands for Antiproton Flux in Space. We do particle physics on CubeSats with cutting edge detector technology. Wer are a group of students of Technische Universität München (TUM) designing and building a particle detector in an unprecedented format. It will be part of the MOVE 2 CubeSat mission, which is being developed by the Institute of Astronautics of TUM. MOVE 2 is a 10 cm x 10 cm x 33 cm satellite and AFIS will be its primary scientific payload, collecting data about a physical phenomenon not yet understood.
