Germany's most authentic and exciting Taco Truck. Freiburg, brace yourself for the Tacolution! Holy frijoles! Mit unserem authentischen ‘Taco Truck’ bringen wir köstliches Mexikanisches Straßenessen nach Deutschland. Wir reisen – ganz im Sinne eines echten Taco Trucks – von Location zu Location und verkaufen jeden Mittwoch und Samstag auf dem Rieselfelder Wochenmarkt in Freiburg.

Unser Food Truck ist eigentlich ein Anhänger.  Mit viel Liebe und Augenmerk aufs Detail haben wir das schmucke Teil herausgeputzt und umgebaut.  Aus ehemaliger Würstchen-Bude wurde The Holy Taco Shack.
Die Deutsche Street Food Szene wollen wir damit gehörig aufmischen und das ist uns bisher auch ganz gut gelungen.
Street Food ist Zukunft, es ist zwar immer noch Essen auf Rädern aber mit Restaurant-Niveau!!
Kreativ, außergewöhnlich, authentisch und ganz nahe am Kunden dran.

Das Essen muss authentisch sein, das ist unsere Food-Truck Philosophie.
Authentisches Mexikanisches Essen ist mit das Beste was es gibt und wir lieben es. In Mexiko gibt es eine sehr vielfältige Küche und eine der umfangreichsten Street Food Kulturen der Welt.  Auf den Straßen und auf kleinen traditionellen Märkten werden an Marktständen und aus Taco Trucks – den sogenannten ‘antojitos’ (wörtlich “kleine Heißhunger”) –  allerhand Leckereien zubereitet und verkauft.  Und genau diese Leckereien findet ihr bei uns!

Gute und frische Zutaten sind uns extrem wichtig, deshalb bauen wir unser eigenes Gemüse, wie
z. B. echte Mexikanische Tomatillos, Habanero und Ancho Chilis selbst an. Dieses Jahr wurden wir hierbei tatkräftig von unserem Freund Jürgen Billmann (aka Billy) von Billy's Farm unterstützt!

Unser Angebot ändert sich je nach Saison! Hier erfahrt ihr nicht nur was sich gerade in unseren Töpfen befindet, sondern auch, wann und wo ihr uns finden könnt.

We’re husband and wife and live in Southwest Germany amongst vineyards and fruit orchards. We spent a fair amount of our time in London and Berlin but we missed nature so much that we relocated to the sticks at the end of 2012.  Here, we intend to raise our daughter and daydream about traveling the world, good food and a good red or white wine!

The Holy Taco Shack started many years ago when we worked in London. We were there when the British street food scene started emerging and thriving and the idea popped into our head that it might be a good idea to run our own food truck! We always knew that we wanted to have our own creative food business and we trusted in this idea more than any other crazy thing we’d thought up until that point.

We held our breath and went off to Berlin to pursue other endeavors. We finally left our jobs last year and spent the next ten months making serious plans, buying a food truck (trailer..to be precise) and getting ourselves booked into festivals.
