So last weekend Savvypaws Chuma and I went to a cat show in Wuppertal which was very well organised by the Bund der Katzenzüchter NRW e.V.! Thank you for your hard work, your time and your ears that are always open for questions and requests. We had a lot of fun, met some really nice people and Chuma was able to gain some points. His behaviour was exemplary although he wasn't that cuddly with the judges as last year. I guess, he is to much of a man for that now 😂 Quite a lot of people misunderstood his loud talking, but those who know him know well, that it's just him calling for attention and girlfriends. We are looking forward to our next show in Kalkar 😊

Like a lot of people I used to think, that it must be really stressful for a cat to be at a cat show. But this boy really loves to go! He loves the attention and enjoys watching all those cats and people😻 Oh, by the way, yesterday he gained the missing points for his grand international champion 🎉🍾👑

This weekend Chuma and I will be out for a cat show in Wuppertal. We are very excited, as we haven't been to a show for a while. If anybody wants to join or visit us, we would be happy about some company 😉😀😻

This Saturday we had the great pleasure to visit Joolz, Jay and their two F2 Danuwa boys Biffy and Gyasi. As Gyasi had a hard time at his previous home, I wasn't sure, how he would react to seeing me. But Joolz did a wonderful job with Gyasi, so we had a chance to have a looooong cuddle. If you listen very carefully, you can hear his purring <3 Isn't he gorgeous?

While we are out and about having a wonderful time in England, the cats are very well cared for by our beloved Ramona😘 with a lot of extra tender loving care😻

Gyasi finally gained his trust in humans again. <3 How awesome is that? Can you hear him purring? For all those who followed his story, here is the happy ending 😍🐆😻 I can not tell you how grateful I am for all the patience, love and effort Joolz and Jay put in this boy!

Today I want to tell you a story about behavioural development in Savannahs: This is Obi, a 5 year old F4 boy. He came to us as a kitten and was rather timid. He followed us around, was never aggressive, but was no lap cat and hated to be carried around. It took him a few months to notice, that it is quite enjoyable to be petted and snuggly on a lap. After a year he kept getting into fights with our other cats. As Obi and my best friend always had a special relationship, we decided that it would be best for him to move in with her. It didn't take long for them to become inseparable. Since then he storms her lap the moment she sits down and he spends the nights in her bed massaging her back. Yet her boyfriend was ignored by him. One day a little cat walked into their living room and decided to stay. Obi adopted him and they became best friends, no fighting at all. Finally, he recently decided, that his male human is an acceptable piece of furniture, aswell. Who would have guessed, that he would develop into this cuddly cat? Isn't that fantastic?

Finally I was able to finish our new DANUWA-fotobook 👏 I guess we are ready for the upcoming cat show season 😁
