The Leading Dentists of the World is a quality assurance circle that was founded by a group of practitioners who felt the need to establish standards to ensure higher levels of patient treatment. Today, Leading Dentists is a global network of dental practices that offer the best service to patients in a growing number of locations.

What makes a dental practice a "Leading Dentist"?

Only dental practitioners meeting the highest performance, quality and hygiene standards can become a member of The Leading Dentists of the World. Dentists who are interested to apply for membership need to pass an evaluation focused on a variety of issues, such as:
•How is the dental practice managed in general with regards to friendliness towards patients, response to patient enquiries and complaints, and timeliness of appointments?
•How many dentists are employed and how wide is the scope of services offered, including preventive dentistry, periodontal treatment, implantology and aesthetic dentistry?
•How well does the dentist consult his/her patients on therapies, alternatives and develop the optimal treatment plan for the patient?
•What is the level of technology used to plan and executive the best possible treatment for the patient? Does the practitioner treat his/her patients with state-of-the-art equipment?

•Does the practice have a quality assurance system in place with regards to high performance and hygiene standards?
•And many more.

All Leading Dentists are monitored on a regularly basis, including unannounced inspections by independent reviewers.

Was macht eine Zahnärztin oder einen Zahnarzt zum "Leading Dentist"?

Nur Zahnarztpraxen, die höchste Standards in Bezug auf Behandlungsleistung, Qualität und Hygiene erfüllen, können bei The Leading Dentists of the World Mitglied werden. Zahnärzte, die sich um eine Mitgliedschaft bewerben möchten, durchlaufen eine umfangreiche Prüfung, die unter anderem diese Punkte beinhaltet:
•Wie wird die Zahnarztpraxis ganz allgemein in Bezug auf Patientenfreundlichkeit, das Eingehen auf Patientenfragen und -beschwerden und die Terminkoordination geführt?
•Wie viele Behandler arbeiten in der Praxis, welche Fachgebiete werden abgedeckt, z.B. Prophylaxe, Parodontaltherapie, Implantologie und ästhetische Zahnheilkunde?
•Wie gut berät die Zahnärztin/der Zahnarzt den Patienten in Bezug auf Therapiemöglichkeiten und Alternativen und entwickelt daraus den bestmöglichen Behandlungsplan für den Patienten?
