Motheyes under the AFM The eyes of a moth are a nice example for bionical engineering. temicon transfered such a pattern from nature into technology. The Physik Schülerlabor Initiative at KIT measured eyes of a moth and compared it with temicon’s engineered motheye pattern. The result can been seen at: http://psi.physik.kit.edu/374.php

"New Kid in town" Anti-glare structure HT-AG-01 The new member of the standard structure family at temicon temicon expands the portfolio of standard structures. Standard structures offer a fast and budget-friendly solution in order to test own products and processes. temicon provides a variety of different patterns at choice which are available in assorted sizes. This includes e.g. structures which reduce reflection, optical gratings, microlens-arrays or holographic diffusors. The anti-glare structure HT-AG-01 is the new standard pattern which is available for our customers from now on. With a diffusor angle of about 1° it is a special case of a circular diffusor. A typical application is the use for all kind of displays or areas for which an anti-glare or matte surface is requested or desirable. The structure has a thickness of only some few microns, it is tolerant against fingerprints and offers high transmittance values. Moreover there is no essential impact on contrast or display readability.
