50 days in the jungle - a review: 11 transformers (4 x 250mt and 7 x 350mt, destined for the BELO MONTE Converter-Station in the Amazonas region of northern Brazil) were discharged individually ex delivering barge by use of SPMT und driven over a steep hill-climb under close monitoring by TRITON MARINE - Transport Risk Consultants GmbH. When reaching the station, the transformers were discharged by a 4-Point Gantry System and placed on boogie sets. Afterwards each transformer was pulled to its designated assembly station. By hydraulic jacking the transformers were picked-up again and the boogie sets were turned. TRITON MARINE - Transport Risk Consultants GmbH accompanied each transport to ensure integrity of the transformers and to rule out any technical and organizational difficulties. The transformers were arranged in position and handed-over to their mounting teams in superb condition and - even more important - absolutely within the expected time frame. This achievement would not have been possible without the help and passionate engagement of an entire team of heavy haulier, freight forwarder and specialists of shipper's and receiver's side. Memory Monday TRITON MARINE is now on the market for more than half-a-year. In this time more than three dozen heavy lift projects were successfully solved including transportation of large and heavy energy components or yachts worth multi-million dollars. Claims’ handling with an overall volume of some 25 million euros was carried out as well. Strategic assistance to freight forwarding management including development of risk assessments and method statements were demanded by clients as was the engineering of some fine heavy lift rigging and sea-fastening equipment. All in, one can say that TRITON MARINE had arrived.

SUBSTATION RECEIVES FIRST OF 2 SHUNT REACTORS - RACEBANK WINDPARK ANOTHER STEP CLOSER TO COMPLETION Again, safe transportation was made available by TRITON MARINE - Transport Risk Consultants GmbH when ensuring discharge operation on the British river Nene, intermediate port storage and onward transportation were carried out safe and according to the pre-fabricated and agreed statements. The shunt reactor weighing 172 mt gross was discharged ex delivering coaster vessel by crane, transported by multi-axle girder-bridge trailer with pull & push tractors and installed on its foundation within tolerances of some 5mm only by skidding and jacking. Great job by all parties concerned!

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF HIGH-SPEED TRANSPORTATION The first high-speed train has been delivered successfully after a transportation of some thousand kilometers from western part of Germany to Turkey's capital city Ankara, including a Ro/Ro ferry operation. TRITON MARINE - Transport Risk Consultants GmbH (as part of the logistical chain of command) developed an operational plan of execution and carried out personal surveillance and inspection of correct cargo securing measures.
