The Studentendorf (student village) Schlachtensee is a heritage listed building complex of residential and community buildings in Berlin. It was built in the 1950s and was planned as a residence for students of the Free University of Berlin. Based on the model of the Studentendorf Schlachtensee, the Studentendorf Adlershof opened in October 2014 on the campus of Humboldt University in Berlins Adlershof district.

facebook.comDas neue Semester startet und es sind eine Menge neue Bewohner im Dorf eingezogen. Um sie willkommen zu heißen und auch, um den Start unserer neuen sonntäglichen ClubKino-Reihe zu feiern, machen wir die Nacht noch einmal zum Tag, bevor wieder der Ernst des Lebens wieder beginnt und sich alle hinter ihren Büchern verstecken. The new semester is starting and lots of new residents have moved in. To welcome them and also to celebrate the opening of our new ClubKino (Club Cinema) on Sundays we will party all night long, before the serious side of life takes over again and everyone has to hide behind his or her study books. Live on stage: PROJECT UNITY Die sechsköpfige ReggaeSka Band PROJECT UNITY ist aus einem Hamburger Freundeskreis entstanden, der sich mittlerweile an die verschiedenen Musikhochschulen Norddeutschlands verteilt hat. Das hält sie aber nicht davon ab, weiter dem Offbeat zu folgen und die Musik zu machen, die in den Hochschulen eher weniger unterrichtet wird, dafür aber in ihren Herzen schlägt. The fact that they have to travel far doesn't keep them from following the Offbeat and playing the music, that is not tought so much in the schools, but resembles the Beats of their Hearts. Wir wünschen Euch einen Fröhlichen #Frühlingsanfang! Leider hat Väterchen Frost noch nicht ganz verstanden, dass seine Zeit für dieses Jahr vorbei ist. Deshalb müssen wir aufgrund der Witterungsbedingungen das für heute abend geplante Grillen leider absagen. Die Veranstaltung wird bei gutem Wetter aber definitiv nachgeholt! Versprochen! 🌨️👀❄️☃️☠️ Merry start of #spring folks! Unfortunately Jack Frost has not yet completely understood that his time for this year is over. So with regret we have to cancel the BBQ that had been planned for tonight. But we will surely find a replacement date in better weather - promised!
