Well just come back up from having a stroll down the lake to swim 5 as there were loads of fish feeding down there and then I heard a snorting noise which scared me instantly so I turned round in a flash to see a wild boar about 200kg around 15 meters away from me and it was still coming so I made a squeak noise to get its attention ..bad idea it put its head down to the ground and started pulling its front legs back digging in the ground like a bull ..so instantly I thought if that charges me I'm off in the lake ..luckily it buggered off sharpish ..why oh why didn't I have my camera ..squeaky bum moment fewwwwwwww

Just been flicking through afew photos of when we netted the lake and it's great to see some of the smaller fish putting on abit of weight This is going to be a chunk in the next few years . Another fish I hand picked around 2 pounds afew years ago from our stock pond

Quick message to say what hooks and end tackle I am using to catch our fish and others aswell ..since speaking to Andrew Currie who owns and runs hybrid tackle over 2 years ago I have not looked back at using any other brand and believe me I've tried them all some good and some rubbish .but when your constantly catching on top quality gear and sharp hooks then why change ..everybody drops the odd fish now and then but that's not down to the quality of the gear it's just bad placement in the fishes mouths .so basically if your looking at top quality end gear get on the hybrid tackle website and give Andrew a shout it's simple and Very affordable ....👌🏻🐟🎣💪 get onit
