F-pennut 1 vk - F-kittens 1 week

Pennut täyttivät eilen viikon, ja sen kunniaksi otettiin vähän kuvia. Sirpa on hoitanut pentujaan esimerkillisen hyvin: painot ovat kaikilla hienosti nousussa, kaikki ovat jo ylittäneet 200 g rajan. Myös Ramona-mummo on innolla mukana hoitamassa lapsenlapsiaan. Kittens were 1 week old yesterday, and I took some photos to celebrate. Sirpa has been an exemplary mother: all the kittens are gaining weight nicely, and they've all reached the weight of 200 g already. Grandma Ramona is also very happy to help caring for her grandkids.

F-Pennut 29.3.2017

Sirpa synnytti tänä aamuna neljä suloista pentua! Kolme pennuista on väriltään hopeatäplikästä, ja yksi sinihopeatäplikäs. Niistä on kolme poikaa ja yksi tyttö. Syntymäpainot olivat välillä 79-101g. This morning Sirpa gave birth to four lovely kittens! Three of them are black silver spotted, and one is blue silver spotted. There are three boys and one girl. Their birthweights ranged from 79 to 101 grams.

Pentuja odotettavissa! - We are expecting kittens!

Kissalaan on tulossa pentuja tänä keväänä. Ihana Sirpa (Tangerine's Cheyenne) on tiineenä, laskettu aika on 29.3. Siis parin viikon päästä, ja Sirpa onkin jo melko pyöreässä kunnossa. Tulevien pentujen isä on kiltti ja komea nuori herra Angoraphil Hyalite. (Kiitos Tuija!) Iskä on siis sinihopeatäplikäs ja Sirpahan on goldentäplikäs. Odottelen lähinnä hopeapentuja, sekä musta- että sinihopeita. Kuvioina varmaan täplikästä tai klassista tabbya. Toki muitakin värivaihtoehtoja on, saa nyt nähdä. We are expecting kittens this spring. My lovely Sirpa (Tangerine's Cheyenne) is pregnant, the kittens are due on the 29th on March. That's a couple of weeks from now, and she is getting rather round. The father of the kittens will be a very sweet and handsome young male Angoraphil Hyalite. So the daddy is blue silver spotted, and Sirpa is golden spotted. I'm mainly expecting silver kittens, both black and blue silver. The tabby patterns are probably spotted or classic tabby. But there are other colour options, too, we'll have to wait and see.

Bambi 5.3.2017

Bambi (Tangerine's Damsel Dewdrop) on viime aikoina saanut hoitaa kissalan edustustehtäviä näyttelyissä. Viimeksi Askolassa Bambi pääsi oikein paneeliin, ja siitä olisi tässä muutama hieno Tessan ottama kuva. Kissalassa on ollut vähän hiljaista, mutta muitakin hyviä uutisia on luvassa pikapuoliin... Bambi (Tangerine's Damsel Dewdrop) has lately been in charge of representing the cattery at cat shows. At our latest show in Askola she made it to the panel, and here are some nice photos of her by Tessa. It's been rather quiet at the cattery lately, but there are more good news coming soon...

Kaikki pennut ovat nyt muuttaneet omiin koteihinsa, joten tässä saa taas totutella hieman rauhallisempaan elämään. Pentuja on kyllä taas suunnitteilla: Sirpan (Tangerine's Cheyenne) olisi tarkoitus olla seuraavan pentueen emo. All the kittens have now moved to their new homes, so I'm trying to get adjusted to a more peaceful life for a change. I do have kittens plans, though: Sirpa (Tangerine's Cheyenne) is supposed to be the mother of the next litter.

Pennut 15 vk - Kittens 15 weeks

Kesän pennuista yksi etsii vielä omaa kotia: Pancakes & Butter, kaunis goldentäplikäs tyttö. Hän on erittäin sosiaalinen, touhukas ja rakastava nuori neiti. Hän leikkii paljon ja riehakkaasti, ja sitten tulee mielellään syliin nukkumaan. Kaksi pentua on jo muuttanut uusiin koteihinsa. Nyt minulla on kolme tyttöä vielä hetken kotona, tosin kaksi heistä muuttaa kohta. One of the summer kittens is still looking for her own home: Pancakes & Butter, a beautiful golden spotted girl. She is a very social and active young lady. She likes to play wildly, and then she likes to crawl into my lap for a nap. Two of the kittens have already moved to their new homes. Now I have three little girls with me for a while, but two of them will move soon.

Pennut 3 kk - Kittens 3 months

Pennut täyttivät jo kolme kuukautta! Eläinlääkärissä käytiin saamassa mikrosirut ja toiset rokotukset. Sain olla tosi ylpeä heistä, koska koko porukka käyttäytyi niin hienosti. Kasvattajalla on täällä hieman haikea mieli, koska ihan kohta pennut alkavat muuttaa uusiin koteihinsa. Ekat lähtevät jo huomenna. Yksi pennuista on vielä vapaana: Pancakes & Butter, goldentäplikäs (ny 24) tyttö. Hän on kaunis ja elegantti neitonen, jolla on aktiivinen ja sosiaalinen luonne. The kittens are 3 months old already! I took them to the vet to get their microchips and vaccinations. They made me so proud; the whole group behaved super well. The breeder here is feeling a bit sad, because very soon the kittens will start to move to their new homes. The first ones will leave tomorrow. One of the kittens is still available: Pancakes & Butter, golden spotted (ny 24) girl. She is a beautiful and elegant young lady, with an active and sociable character.

Pennut 12 vk - Kittens 12 weeks

Ramonan ja Poitsun suloiset tyttäret täyttävät jo 12 viikkoa. Kaikkea jännää olisi heille taas luvassa. Ensi maanantaina on eläinlääkärireissun vuoro, kun tytöt saavat toiset rokotukset ja mikrosirut. Näyttelyuraakin jo suunnitellaan, heidän olisi tarkoitus debytoida elokuun lopussa Vantaalla. Mutta sitä ennen ehditäänkin jo muuttaa uusiin koteihin... Varaustilanne: ihana tyttö numero 2 (Pancakes & Butter) on vielä varattavissa, muut on varattu. The lovely daughters of Ramona and Poitsu are 12 weeks old already. Many exciting things await them. Next Monday I'll take them to the veterinary clinic for some vaccinations and microchips. Their show career is also being planned, they are due to debut in Vantaa in the end of August. But before that they'll be moving to their new homes.. Reservation situation: the lovely girl number 2 (Pancakes & Butter) is still available for reservation, the others are reserved.

Pennut 11 vk - Kittens 11 weeks

Tytöt eivät ole enää vauvoja, vaan heistä on alkanut muotoutua kauniita ja elegantteja pikkuangoroita. He ovat myös erittäin vauhdikkaita, joten valokuvissa poseeraaminen on hieman haasteellista. The girls aren't babies anymore, but they are starting to become beautiful and elegant little angoras. They are also very, very speedy, so it's a bit challenging to pose in photos.

Pennut 10 vk - Kittens 10 weeks

Pikkuneidit vaikuttavan nauttivan iloisen vauhdikkaasta elämästään. Leikkien lisäksi ruoka maistuu hyvin, ja kilon painokin on jo ylitetty. Ainoastaan ykköspentu painaa vielä alle kilon, eikä siltäkään paljon puutu. The little ladies truly seem to enjoy their action-packed life. In addition to playing they really enjoy their food, as well. They have now reached the weight of one kilogram, all except little number one, and she's not that far behind, either.

Pennut 9 viikkoa - Kitten 9 weeks

Tällä viikolla oli ohjelmassa pentujen ekat rokotukset. Eläinlääkärikäynti sujui oikein hyvin, ja kaikki pennut todettiin terveiksi. The trip to the veterinary clinic went well, and all the kittens were checked to be healthy. I have started the registration process, and the information of all kittens (including pedigree) can be found from the information system provided by Kissaliitto (the Finnish cat association).
