As of 1 January 2018 a new pharmacy law is implemented resulting in new opening hours for pharmacies. For Odense, this means that the only pharmacy which used to have a non-stop opening schedule, Odense Apoteket Ørnen, has now reduced its opening hours from 6:00 to 24:00. In case you have an emergency during the night, you should call the 'night doctor' which can be contacted at 70 11 07 07. Please remember that this number is available only for situations of real emergency. In case you need over the counter medicine, you can still buy certain types in supermarkets and gas-stations.
