As you know, the Welsh Cobs are brave - and versatile; and so are their riders!! One of the best examples we know off is this pair: Tessa - and her just 6 years old Welsh Cob gelding Valhallas Allegro - by Menai Cardi Gambler and out of grand old Valhallas Emma by Laburnum Magic. Next time they might jump the bridge in stead...!

Also the 10 year old black Welsh Cob mare Valhallas Ladybird is having a lot of success this year, competing in L dressage classes against horses, ridden by her owner Louise Helskov. In 2016 they have won 13 first's and 13 second's - and thus they have been outclassed from 6 levels of L-classes - and seem to be ready for the M-classes next year?! Great news from the UK!! Almost like an early Christmas present!! Holly Kerslake and Valhallas Zorro participated this weekend in their first FEI test at the highest level - at the Keysoe High Profile Show - in the toughest possible company, against the UK National Team ponies - and did a brilliant job!! In the FEI Team Test (PRT) they had an amazing debut with 71,4 % and finished 5th, and today they ended up 3rd in the FEI Individual (PRM). Fantastic, young lady!!

Valhallas Zorro and Holly Kerslake have participated in their first training with the Great Britain Prime Squad - with a lot of action and homework before next month's training session. Holly says: 'My gorgeous boy Zorro danced his little socks off this weekend'!! Valhallas Zorro & Holly Kerslake har været til deres første træningssamling med bruttotruppen til det britiske ponydressur-landshold! Ser rigtig lovende ud!!

What a week for Holly & Valhallas Zorro!! Also in the M-finals on Friday they gave an amazing performance and finished in Top 10 with scores just under 66 % - in another tough class full of warmbloods and grown-ups -:)!! We are so happy for Holly - but also very proud and impressed!! Well done, young lady!!

Der var fest på Valhalla i går! Vores unge hingst Valhallas Zorro har kvalificeret sig til hele 2 finaler ved de britiske dressurmesterskaber, British National Dressage Championships, der foregår i disse dage. Disse konkurrencer adskiller sig fra danske mesterskaber, idet alle konkurrerer mod alle ved regionale finaler for at kvalificere sig. Holly & Zorro var i går eneste pony og eneste juniorrytter blandt de 22 startende i L-finalen, alle andre var voksne på varmblodsheste. Men alligevel scorede de superflotte 70,93 % i deres første start på dette niveau (og i så utrolige omgivelser), og sluttede som nr. 5 - bag 4 beridere/professionelle ryttere - og Holly blev dermed også bedste amatørrytter blandt alle de voksne! En formidabel præstation! Og i eftermiddag starter de minsandten også i M-finalen!! Vi krydser alt, hvad vi kan!!

We were celebrating at Valhalla last night!! The amazing duo, Valhallas Zorro & Holly Kerslake, participated yesterday in the British National Dressage finals in Stoneleigh - in the Elementary finals with 22 qualified from the regional finals. Zorro was the only pony, that had qualified, Holly the only junior rider. And amongst all these grown-ups and their warmblooded horses they performed to 70,93 % and were placed 5th!! A completely fantastic result from this young duo - the 4 above them were all professional riders, so Holly was also 'Best Amateur' in the competition. But to us she is absolutely top-class Pro!!
