Day 20, 24th June 2017, our last day here in Prora. Our diving team consisting of Thomas, Mike, Kostas and Thjis had to go out for a second consecutive time, despite the cloudy and rainy weather, since they had the very important task of covering the wreck with geotextile and rocks so it will be protected. The land team was also very busy with organizing and packing all our equipment, the material and the finds we gathered the last three weeks. With the return of the diving team all the diving equipment had to be cleaned and packed for Esbjerg. With the covering of the Jasmund 7 wreck and the packing of the last find, this year's fieldschool season came to its end. All the team will meet again in September to study and discuss all the information we got from our work in Jasmund 7. Effie Akrivopoulou

Day 19, (Friday, 23rd of June 2017) Today, although it was a very rainy day the sea was calm, and the diving team went in one of their last missions: Bring up the frame #260. We only had today to accomplish this task, because tomorrow we will need to start covering and protecting the wreck. Therefore, the diving team to carry out this job was Kostas, Mike and Thomas, our best and faster diver in sawing. The team inland organized all the forms, inventory and sheet numbers of the different objects. We also made photographs to those objects that did not have and we continued recording and drawing the new artefacts, like the laths that were brought up the day before. We were working in the big shed that Prora hostel had kindly lend us, as drawing outside was quite impossible due to the rain. Finally the diving team arrived back home with some small planks and the frame #260. Hoorraaaaayy!! The divers came covered in tar, and therefore had to pass through the hands and brushes of our cleaning team. Finally, and at the end of the day we made a BBQ in the camping, to say goodbye to Prora, to the shipwreck and to everybody. Tomorrow is our last day :) Irene Muñoz
