Thanks to everybody that supported the MTW Watersport Centre Open Day today (22 Apr), an excellent day for all we hope 😄 Weather was kind and most activities went ahead as planned all day. Thanks to Fergie, Andros, Tom et al for the volleyball, MTW Staff and everybody else that worked tirelessly to make this happen. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and if you did would you be kind enough to write us a Facebook review. See you again on 17th June folks for another day of fun 👍

MTW WSC are preparing for the Open Day Sat 22 Apr 17 - This weeekend 0800 - 1600hrs! Come on down to join in the fun, in the sun and enjoy the weather 28 degrees.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused. MTW WSC will be closed Sat 8 Apr 17. This is due to the storm/weather forecast over the forthcoming weekend and the sea state being to rough for water sport activities. On a positive note, beach will be open for general use (sun bathing, sun beds, swimming in the red buoy area, children's play area, sun shades and picnic area). Toilets and showers are also available. Please read and comply with the safety signage in place. Thanks to Pine Sticks for their outstanding work in leveling the entire beach and for digging/removing 2 feet of stone and replacing it with soft sand - The 2 volleyball pitches are beginning to take shape! MTW WSC will remain closed until 3 Apr due to the inclement weather. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Looking forward to getting the season underway. MTW WSC have 2 level 2 water ski and wake board coaches and offer a formal program for both disciplines. Plse call the centre and getting learning something new. All the best MTW Staff

MTW Water Sports Centre

MTW WSC season 2017 is fast approaching - Beach will soon be open! Open between 1 Apr - 30 Nov 17 Beach is open during times MTW WSC Staff are not present daily between 0630 - 2100hrs or as the nights close in times of darkness. MTW WSC Staff available to deliver all water sports between Tue - Sat 0700 - 1400hrs. Please pre book for all activities or turn up and join the queue. First Sunday of each month the centre is open 0800 - 1400hrs (Power boat hire only). Activities on offer: Water skiing €7.50 pp for 20 mins Towed inflatables €3.00 pp for 7 min rides (min 2 persons and max is dependent on the toy) Paddle boards/sit on kayak €2.50 pp (30 mins) Cultural tour in a power boat €5.00 pp (min 4 max 6 people) Power boat hire €80 (4 hours includes fuel and insurance). Level 2 license and working mobile phone is required. Advised boat hire times 0800/0900 - 1200/1300hrs. No charge facilities: Sea inflatables (Rules and Regulations for use are displayed and must be read prior to use). Children's play area (swing, slide and small tower). Wifi, sun beds and shaded picnic area. Swimming in the sea (at times no lifeguard is on duty - Please read and comply with the flag safety system (located at the tower)).
