Donegal Real Estate was established by father and son Kevin and Sean Moane in 2007. After operating their own company in the UK - Valley Property Developments-in which they completed refurbishments, internal works and several large "design and build" projects, Kevin and family decided to emigrate to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in September of 2006. Since forming Donegal Real Estate, work has increased steadily, especially in the surrounding areas of Kyrenia and land acquisitions are regularly being secured for new projects.
A family-owned and run business, Donegal Real Estate prides itself on the traditional values of high quality and service provided to its customers and this has been central to securing the client base that we now enjoy as a company. We specialize in building uniquely designed villas and apartments in North Cyprus for use as either holiday or permanent residences. Our architects and team work closely to ensure the beauty of the local surroundings are retained and incorporated into the styles we develop, giving our properties an attractive, Mediterranean character that distinctly separates them from others. Our appreciation of nature and the environment is also reflected in the landscaping of our properties and we work alongside the North Cyprus Environmental Department to ensure that the natural surroundings are kept intact.
The owners and directors have over 30 years of experience and knowledge within the property development market, having built major developments in the United Kingdom and Northern Cyprus. Donegal Real Estate are one of the few developers in North Cyprus with such vast experience and are the only registered Member of the Federation of Master Builders in the TRNC and adhering to its Code of Practice.

In 2008 they were proud winners of the "Best Villa" category in the North Cyprus Property Awards for their luxury villa "Yuce Ev" (meaning "Grand House") built in Lapta. Organised by PropertyNC magazine, the awards were instigated to promote recognition in the North Cyprus construction industry where it was warranted and deserved.
The selection criteria was strict and entrants had to present to the judges their portfolio of recently completed projects and allow site visits to enable the design and workmanship to be inspected. Testimonials from previous, satisfied customers were also submitted in support of each entrant. The judges were also impressed by Donegal Real Estate membership of the Federation of Master Builders and the fact that Kevin had been a long standing member of the FMB in the Midlands when he lived in the UK and given the reassurance customers derive from employing a builder who has been carefully vetted by a reputable organisation such as the FMB.
2008 also saw our involvement with the music charity show held in September at Kyrenia’s new amphitheatre to raise money for the children of the Special School for the Handicapped located in Karakum.
