Dear CEO Family, Greetings from Zagreb, Croatia! We would like to express to you our gratefulness for the love, prayers and support that you have generously shown to us this year. You have genuinely made it possible for us to accomplish much for the sake of the Gospel and we truly believe that by the grace of God we will do more in 2018 than we have in 2017. 2017 has been a challenging year for us personally and for our congregation. The ongoing economic crisis in Croatia continues to affect us strongly as prices continue to rise; yet we continue to see God answering our prayers. We have a strong desire to see God work and move in our small, troubled country and it is our longing to be able to continue the work that the Lord has started so we can see a full-scale revival visit our country. To be able to continue the work there are several needs, both in the ministry and in my family, that we have been praying will be met. Some of them we know only God can meet. Economically and spiritually Croatia is regressing, as we are dealing with a very corrupt government that continues raising our taxes (presently our sales tax is at 25 percent). Many Croatians are unemployed and those who are employed barely make enough to cover their most basic needs. Since Croatia’s acceptance into the European Union, we’ve seen a huge wave of our young people moving to economically stronger European countries in search of work and a better life. Because of this, many churches in smaller cities and villages have either shrunk to half or a fourth of their size or have had to close their doors altogether. However, despite this we continue to lift up our heads knowing that as we continue to trust God for our resources He will enable us complete the work He has begun, and that we will see many souls saved and our city transformed for Jesus Christ. So, with this letter we simply wish to present to you the exciting work we are doing here in Croatia along with our present needs. We also wish to appeal to you to partner with what God is doing here in Zagreb and Croatia. If you wish to take part in this great work please let us know.
