Škor is a small baroque square in the eastern part of the Stari Grad centre. The name came from “škver ( “a shipyard” in the Dalmatian-Croatian dialect) that occupied this area in the 17-18. century before the filling of the Stari Grad coast. On all sides there are houses with Renaissance and Baroque stylistic characteristics, while some were built in the style of the folk island architecture. The greatest value of the square is preserved in its entirety.
