We are glad to announce that DP Knowledge for Technical staff (Part A) Course recognized by the Nautical Institute is now available in Apave Mare Training Center, Croatia. This course has been developed to help meet the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) needs for technical staff engaged in operations aboard vessels with dynamic positioning equipment. Participant should be an Engineer Officer/ETO or shore based Technical Staff. The Course may also be useful to Deck Officers and Masters who require a greater technical understanding of the operation of DP equipment. Dynamic Positioning Revalidation Course Holders of Nautical Institute DP Certificates need to revalidate these every five years. But what if you have been unable to obtain the required sea time? Help is at hand. The Institute's new Revalidation Course option gives all DPOs the opportunity to revalidate their DP Certificate without the need to accrue sea time!
