Kul IN Language Academy has partnered with Applied Ceramics Sisak to help interested employees improve their English. As of now, we've organized entry-level testing for 30 employees, and we're not done yet! Employees from a variety of departments of the Applied Ceramics team have shown interest in English lessons. It's clear that knowing English is an important skill, no matter what you do! As we continue organizing test dates for Applied Ceramics, lessons have already begun. In their second week of classes, eight students are reviewing the present simple tense, expanding their office vocabulary, and practicing their English speaking skills. They were a little shy at first, but Professor Sanja's friendly manner got them laughing quickly. Just by relaxing, the students have already shown tremendous progress! They are speaking up, asking questions, and absorbing new material like sponges.

Museum night happens one night a year and takes place throughout all of Croatia. Every museum in the country stays open late into the night and entrance is free! We went to see two exhibitions in Sisak: ancient Roman glass and flower arrangements. The Roman ruins outside take on a completely new look under a light blanket of snow.
Welcome to Croatia
While we're totally loving the snow we've gotten this winter season, it's nice to daydream about the upcoming summer every once in a while :)
