At our eco base and camp in Milna, Brac, Croatia, we trial and evolve ecological construction, permaculture, geomancy, healthy living, arts and crafts. The Croatian Island Brac is the focus of a heart centre that channels cosmic love, and distributes the Earth’s vital energy across a wide region. The sea plays a vital role in transforming outdated patterns, and a number of impulses for change have manifested close by in the sea as well as on the land. A group of international artists has created the stone circle auditorium to support the unfolding of this heart chakra. It features reliefs carved in stone, each with its own energy vibration. The Gea Viva base and camp is a place to experience eco living and a deep connection with nature.
Located in a beautiful olive grove on the Croatian island Brač, our association welcomes visitors guests, groups and volunteers. We organize workshops and events, seeking to create a new culture in which we live in harmony with the Earth and each other.
On site we have co-created so far, a stone circle auditorium - a unique event space in nature, a giant mosaic dragon, a pavilion for shade on hot Summer days, a Venus flower, a permaculture garden supplying vegetables, a cosy Summer kitchen with a bred oven and we also planted a wealth of fruit trees.
Being completely off-grid, we collect water from the rain, have compost toilets and a solar shower.
Our themes revolve around permaculture, eco-building, healthy living, geomancy, arts, crafts and personal development, supporting people in walking their path in life and together, we make amazing things happen.

The cultural highlight of this Summer was for me the concert with Valerija and the Soul Ministry Band! It felt like this people usually perform in New York or Paris and this time they have come Milna....Congratulations Valerija Jurkovic and band! It was wonderful to have you here!
It has been a great joy to welcome back Ben, who was here the for the first time as a volunteer two years ago. He returned with his girlfriend Klara to re-visit Gea Viva for a holiday.
We have just had a great Dragon Dreaming workshop led by Ulrike Reimann. The participants greatly enjoyed the natural setting of Gea Viva and felt that this environment was inspiring and supported their learning. #geaviva #dragondreaming
This has been a week of stillness and deep connectedness with the Earth, which was once venerated as the Goddess. Just imagine touching sacred ground with every step you take.
This morning a group came to visit to practice Qi Gong in the stone circle auditorium, and last year at our Geomancy confence, Marko Pogačnik led Gaia touch exercises here....

We had a very touching womb blessing ceremony last night, led by Larisa. For us women, the area of the womb is the centre of our strenght, and this practice is very empowering. Had a beautiful celebration yesterday, thanking the Earth, as well as the plant and animal kingdoms for the food and abundance they provide for us. We remembered the time when the Earth was sacred to us humans and venerated as the great Goddess. We meditated to connect with here, created our own ceremonies of gratitude, made an altar of abundance, honoured the Earth through song and celebration.... For me, a horse stopped by in meditation, taking me on a fast ride, telling me to let go of control.....
