The presentation was held in cooperation with the Croatian National Tourust Board in Slovenia who is the sponsor of this ski event for the sixth consecutive year. Attendees were welcomed by the director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in Slovenia, Metka Bradetić and the presentation on Dubrovnik was held by Jelka Tepšić in a tent intended for partners, sponsors, journalists and other distinguished guests where there were about a hundred and sixty people in attendance, including the Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar, Slovenian ski legend Bojan Križaj, Eva Straus from Dubrovnik’s sister city of Bled, and president of the Croatian Ski Association, Miho Glavić, who is from Konavle near Dubrovnik. Along with beautiful photographs and a promotional video of Dubrovnik, guests were served Dubrovnik specialties – prosciutto, white risotto, fish brodetto, sporchi macaroni, Dalmatian pašticada, prikle donuts, hrostule fritters, Dubrovnik crème caramel, and Dubrovnik heavy sweet cream cake (torta od skorupa). The oldest written graphite in Dubrovnik from 1597... "PAX VOBIS MEMENTO MORI QUI LUDENTIS PILLA" "May peace be with you. Remember that you who play the ball will eventually die!" This unusual graphite in the Latin language, carved on the eastern wall of the Church of St Roch in Dubrovnik, testifies to the childrens prank that has been going on from 1597 to this day. Several centuries ago the children's play infuriated the unknown author and made him carve the warning about the short playful life and inevitability of death on the church wall. The present day residents of the City probably remember the inscription at least once, while the sound of the ball hitting the wall disturbs their afternoon rest and peace. #dubrovnik #lovedubrovnik #experiencedubrovnik #graphite #croatiafulloflife
