facebook.comTIME IS RUNNING OUT! October 15 (this Sunday) is the deadline for applications for the spring semester study abroad program in Dubrovnik, Croatia. You can take two advanced electives (or GDD1 and one or two advanced electives) in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The cost of airfare and the program fee are more than balanced out by lower cost of food and books, and the free furnished housing that your program fee covers. Don't miss this opportunity to study a subject you love in an extraordinary place! (And no, I can't promise that we'll do this again next year...)
The deadline for applying for the Spring 2018 program in Dubrovnik is October 15! If we don't have at least eight people with completed applications at that point, the program won't run. (You're not financially committed at that point, though.) Here's the direct link to the application page in RIT's Compass system. (Hopefully it will work for everyone; if it doesn't, please let me know!) https://rit-horizons.symplicity.com/index.php?s=programs&mode=form&id=1c95c8b1738817517b421c7a0d86e9bb
For students interested in the Spring 2018 program who don't yet have IGME-220 (GDD1), I'm willing to consider teaching that as an independent study concurrently with the advanced electives. (That applies to non-majors as well as GDD 2nd years.) You'll need to come talk to me (Professor Lawley) about doing that, though, because I'm only willing to do it with students that I believe are sufficiently self-motivated.
