Our Life Change Level 1 Program is designed for beginners, and is the perfect way to either start your health and fitness journey, or get back into it! We know that not everyone can make every class throughout the week, so we have also set aside Saturday's at 10:30am for makeup classes, or if you're a "keener", you can put in a fifth day of work. Life Changes is defined as altering a person's life or circumstances in a substantial way! The definition could not be more perfect in describing our intention while designing the Life Change Program. Too many weight loss and fitness programs on the market today target individuals looking for the fastest and easiest way to fitness and healthy body weight. Unfortunately, too few of these same programs give the consumer the tools to maintain that healthy bodyweight and lifestyle. Life Change Yellowknife isn’t a boot camp, it’s not a diet plan and it’s not a “quick fix”. Life Change Yellowknife is a way of life and the start to a new beginning. We are looking for one or two great trainers to work part time coaching some classes and maybe doing some personal training. We are looking for someone who will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be a good team player, motivate members and exceed expectations in providing superior customer service. Candidates should have a strong fitness background (boot-camps, sports teams, martial arts, personal training, power lifting, etc.). We are looking for passionate, energetic, reliable trainers to join our team. What does Just Fitness have to offer? The women’s change room will be closed on Wednesday to repair and replace a toilet and pipes under the building. We will have a small change room for the men and the women can use the men’s washroom for Wednesday. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Our Warrior Built program is based on strength and conditioning. We work through 8-12 week strength training cycles, 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday), where we work on squats, deadlifts, benchpress, and strict press, paired with a short High Intensity Circuit workout for conditioning. On Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, we focus on longer High Intensity circuit training workouts, which focus on cardio and conditioning. On Fridays we also dedicate 15 minutes at the end of class to run a group stretching and mobility workout to help with recovery and to increase movement and flexibility. If someone is new to the gym doesn't have any experience with movements such as kettlebell swings, deadlifts, benchpress, front squats, back squats, pressing and hang power cleans, we require 5 personal training sessions to learn the techniques and movements, for their own personal safety, and the safety of those around you in the class. 5 Personal Training sessions are $275 Our membership is as follows: 12 month contract; $100 per month 6 month contract; $120 per month Month to month contract; $140 per month Classes are Monday-Friday at 6am, 12:15, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30pm, Saturday at 9:30am and Sunday at 10:30am.
