Recital Series - Manning Memorial Chapel
Today at 12:15pm University and Chapel Organist, John Scott, will present a 40min program of music that sounds pretty great on the Chapel organ. Some early 17th century pieces (Peeter Cornet and Girolamo Frescobaldi), some early 18th century pieces (Dietrich Buxtehude and J.S. Bach), and a late-19th century piece by Caesar Franck. This is not a formal affair. Come for all or some. Sit downstairs and experience the unbelievable range of colours from the instrument, or sit upstairs and see how the thing works. Complimentary coffee and tea. Program details here http://chapel.acadiau.ca/Music/recital-series.html
